Eva Petrič was born in Slovenia and now lives between New York, Vienna and Ljubljana. She works in photography, video, performance, installation and writing.  With a BA from Webster University Vienna and an MFA in New Media from Transart Institute New York/Berlin, she has shown work in Slovenia, Argentina, Austria, China, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Macedonia, Mexico, Poland, Philippines, Spain, Serbia, Turkey, and the USA. She was selected three times for Beijing International Art Biennale (2012, 2015 and 2017) and was nominated two times for the Venice Art Biennale (2013 and 2015). Eva is also the author of two published novels, which have been translated and published into 6 languages, and the poetry collection This Space is a Box.
